Serafin - Serafin EP1

Serafin
Serafin EP1

I've been advised to "think Jane's Addiction meeting Weezer" when it comes to Serafin. But I've heard of those two bands... In fact, there seem to be so many bands associated with Serafin that I had to wonder what Serafin have actually done themselves. Well, they've definitely utilised their record collections a lot, because every track on this EP becomes a case of 'spot the riff' (opener 'Day By Day' worryingly starts off like 'Mickey' by Toni Basil), but the four-track offering is good if nothing revolutionary. Whether I'll see their records in the shops in six months time is a different matter...well, at least they had a go, eh?
